Come enjoy the opening evening of the Innerbelt National Forest! Music, food, kid's activities, and more - come share a night with your community at this unique new green space downtown.
The Innerbelt National Forest is a temporary public space adjacent to the decommissioned section of the Innerbelt Freeway that will feature 90 trees, trails, and events that seek to create a connection between the Downtown and West Hill neighborhoods, provide a shared space for residents to come together, and create stewardship for a potential permanent green space on the freeway.
PARKING:: You are encouraged to bike or walk to the space using the towpath trail. If you are not able to bike or walk, you can use the Cascade parking deck or parking on Quaker St.
SEATING:: We will have blankets available to sit on the ground, as well as a seating area. You are also encouraged to bring your own outdoor seating if you'd like.
